We define the real job
Before testing features, we define the outcome a buyer actually needs. That keeps our review focused on usefulness, not marketing claims.
✓OUR REVIEW METHOD
VerdictLab is a growing startup. Our process separates verified facts, available hands-on experience, editorial judgement, and commercial relationships.
THE PROCESS
Every product we publish must pass our evaluation process. We check reliable information, compare the category, use the product when appropriate access is available and apply AI-assisted analysis to test the consistency of evidence and claims.
AI is a research assistant, not the judge. It can help us find questions, organise comparisons and detect contradictions, but a human editor makes the final call and is responsible for what VerdictLab publishes.
Before testing features, we define the outcome a buyer actually needs. That keeps our review focused on usefulness, not marketing claims.
Every published listing passes the same evaluation standard. We use the product on realistic tasks when suitable access is available and clearly state when a conclusion is based on verified research rather than direct use.
We assess alternatives in the same category across usability, capability, support, privacy, reliability, and overall value.
AI helps us organise evidence, compare claims and identify inconsistencies. A human editor checks that work, challenges the marketing promise and remains responsible for the final judgement.
Only standout options earn a recommendation. We state clearly why we picked them, who they suit, and what trade-offs remain.
Products, prices, and policies change. We revisit verdicts and update or remove recommendations when they no longer meet the standard.
EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE
VerdictLab may receive a commission when a reader uses a labelled partner link and completes a qualifying action. If the provider offers a real discount or bonus through that link, we identify it on the offer; affiliate links do not always reduce the price. No payout can buy a listing, ranking or positive verdict, and a product that fails our standard is not published or is removed.
